Tour de France, Stage 1

Wow, how cool was it to have Dave Zabriske win today's stage? While Dave Z is from Salt Lake City, Utah...he lives much of the time he's in the US here in the Bay Area of NorCal and can often be seen showing up at an occational local race or two (much like Levi Leipheimer). And Dave Z was a rider at the Velo Veneto camp in 1997!! There is no doubt that American cycling is at a zenith right now (6 of the top 14 finishers in today's TT). Dave Z is also the first American to win a stage of the Tour, Giro and Vuelta in a 12 month period. But he couldn't beat me in the 2004 Burlingame Criterium, LOL !!!! Enjoy the Tour.
